Agenda
- Welcome & Organizational (Bernd Bayerlein)
- Show - Tell: Presentation 3 - "A materials fatigue knowledge graph for processing and characterization of bainitic steels" by Akhil Thomas (iBain)
- Abstract: In this presentation, we will illustrate the digitalization approach followed within “iBain” for modelling processing and characterization of bainitic steels. The presentation starts with showcasing the glossary development to give an idea about the scope of the developed ontologies. Subsequently, we introduce how domain-specific, ontology-agnostic information within the glossary is compiled into EMMO-based domain and application ontologies. Furthermore, a basic mapping is performed to link the ontological model with PMDco. The mapping approach and exemplary combined SPARQL queries on the instantiated knowledge graph are showcased.
